Valais offers an exceptional playground for cycling enthusiasts. In 2016, the Valais Vélo Tour was created to showcase the region's many facets. Marked cycling routes along the Rhône, panoramic roads through the vineyards, and climbs to the lateral valleys – there's something for everyone: both leisure cyclists and dedicated athletes alike.

If one feature stands out in Valais cycling, it’s the opportunity to conquer legendary mountain passes. More than twenty are listed, including seven giants rising above 2000 meters. This concentration of high-altitude passes is almost unique.

We invite you to discover the most beautiful and highest climbs in the region during spring and summer. Reserved exclusively for soft mobility, you can tackle these ascents in optimal conditions and complete safety. Let’s go, friends!
