SAMAR BY RIGOLO - between world
Overview
Intro
The dance and object theater piece SAMAR takes the audience on a playful journey into the magic of intermediate worlds.
SAMAR - Dance theater in the Seeburgpark Kreuzlingen
With the production SAMAR, Rigolo explores the in-between worlds - the area between dream and reality, between the known and the unknown. Four artists move between heaven and earth, always balancing and searching. Their danced journey tells of the longing to understand this elusive dimension.
A special experience awaits the audience at the Seeburgpark location, directly on the lake: Rigolo Tanztheater and the Kreuzlingen Music School are working together to create an atmospheric introduction to the play SAMAR. Visitors can enjoy culinary delights in the catering area 90 minutes before the performance begins and enjoy the special evening atmosphere by the lake. Meanwhile, pupils from the Kreuzlingen Music School set the first scenic impulses in the outdoor space with poetic dance accents and open up a quiet premonition of the world of SAMAR.
When the audience then gathers in the tent, the students continue this prelude: with movement and presence, they open up the space to the intermediate world of the play and lead smoothly into the subsequent performance.
The interdisciplinary piece combines contemporary dance, aerial acrobatics and theatrical elements. The performers explore the world of being in-between in floating rope installations. Transparent fabrics, light installations and specially composed music create an atmospherically dense, visual poetry.
After successes such as "Flügel im Park" and SOSPIRI at the Weiden-Palais in Seeburgpark, Rigolo continues its tradition of combining art, nature and community - and invites you to immerse yourself in a world in which the boundaries between dream and reality become blurred.
