Writing Workshop
Overview
Intro
A wealth of treasures at the museum inspires writing! Writing workshop for adults and teens ages 12 and up. With Silvia Tavernini, German studies scholar and writing workshop leader
Looking at paintings and sculptures stimulates all the senses and sparks the imagination. Tried-and-true prompts based on selected works gently guide you into writing in a playful way. It’s fun to experiment and spin tales with other writing enthusiasts! Sharing—on a voluntary basis—the quirky, amusing, profound, and enchanting short texts that emerge enhances the joy of experimentation, while attentive listening enriches the experience and encourages you to keep writing.
Please bring: a pen, curiosity, and a notebook. No prior experience is necessary.
