Welcome to Huus Löwen! Our ‘homely’ hotel, directly opposite the historic 3*S Hotel, Huus Bären, which is already over 422 years old, is perfect for family, hiking and wellness holidays. In recent years it has been renovated with great attention to detail. Our two hotels offer you two first-class restaurants: The fine-dining restaurant Bärenstobe, which is known far beyond the borders of Appenzell, and the Lehnerstobe, where we spoil you with traditional Appenzell specialities. The Appenzeller Huus is a place of strength for body, mind and soul. It has an exclusive sauna area with steam bath and traditional tiled stove, stylishly housed under the cosy pointed roof. Our hot tub can be booked exclusively in advance to offer you a special wellness experience.

A place of endless possibilities: opened in 2023, the 100 m² Löwensaal is crafted from Appenzell moon wood and features large windows that fill the space with natural light and offer inspiring views. It accommodates up to 80 guests and includes a romantic garden for refreshing breaks in the open air. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, a video conferencing system, and Click & Share technology. Guests enjoy first-class, creative cuisine, personal consultation, and a wide range of team-building activities in the wild and romantic mountain landscape surrounding the Säntis. The historic boutique hotel also offers 24 inspiring design rooms.

The guest will pay an amount equal to the total price in case of cancellation in the 4 days prior to arrival. No advance payment is required.
