This is Lenzerheide

Lenzerheide is located in the east of Switzerland in the canton of Graubünden. The sun-drenched village with the Heidsee is known for its extensive winter sports area and a wide range of activities for families.

Discover Lenzerheide

Your tour begins in the village and leads through the squirrel forest to the Heidsee. In summer, you can enjoy the lido or rent a surfboard at the water sports centre. In winter, the forest inspires with light art, concerts and a children's programme. The cable car takes you to the Scharmoin sun terrace, where you hike to the Sanaspans waterfall and back down into the valley after a little refreshment.

Family experiences in Lenzerheide

Lenzerheide is a large adventure playground for families. The pirate ship at the Heidsee, the slide in the H2Lai water world and the marble run on Scharmoin provide fun for young and old. There is also the Globi hiking trail, the Autschliweg and the Pradaschier adventure mountain with toboggan run, rope park and zipline. And in the squirrel forest, the cute little animals eat the hazelnuts out of your hand.

Winter sports, biking and hiking

In Lenzerheide, you follow the sun in winter: in the morning, you take the first run from Piz Scalottas on the west side of the valley. In the afternoon, head east to the Parpaner Rothorn or take the Urdenbahn up to the Hörnli above Arosa. After sunset, there is night tobogganing on the "Light Ride". A treat for cross-country skiers is the lake trail over the frozen Heidsee. In summer, the mountain peaks are perfect for hiking or biking. They are all higher than 2000 metres and offer mountain gastronomy with Graubünden specialities. A highlight for mountain bike fans is the Bike Kingdom Park with five different trails.

Around Lenzerheide

The Bear Sanctuary in Arosa is an ideal day trip for families. Or you can visit the neighbouring village of Lantsch/Lenz with its historic churches and the Val Meltger suspension bridge. Other popular destinations are Chur, the oldest city in Switzerland, Bergün on the UNESCO Albula railway line and Davos, the highest city in Europe.
