Located just a few steps from the waterfront on Lake Lugano, the Albergo Svizzero, a family-run hotel, offers simple and comfortable, recently renovated, rooms with bathroom, Tv, safe and free Wi-Fi access. Its privileged position just opposite the train's departure to the Monte Generoso and a few minutes from the cableway to the Monte San Giorgio, and from the Roman Battistero of Riva San Vitale, make of it a good starting point for excursions. The Albergo Svizzero is situated on the southeast shore of Lugano Lake, between Mount Generoso and Mount San Giorgio, just 5 km from Mendrisio and 15 km from Lugano and from Como.
How to reach us:
From North: Motorway A2, exit Melide, take main road direction Mendrisio, for about 6 km take the overpass towards Riva San Vitale-Brusino, and the hotel is located 100 m after the railway station and from the train to the Monte Generoso.
From South: Motorway A2, exit Mendrisio, take the road towards Lugano Cantonal Take overpass for about 4 km towards Riva San Vitale-Brusino, and the hotel is located 100 m after the railway station and from the train to the Monte Generoso.
