The idyllic detached holiday home Chalet Waldegg, in Wangs in eastern Switzerland (Canton St. Gallen, Switzerland) is situated at 1000 m above sea level, in a unique panoramic position and in the middle of the skiing and hiking area of the Pizol (intermediate station Maienberg).
In winter, the ski slopes and the 7 km long toboggan run lead past the holiday home. In summer, the nearby alps with their cows, mountain meadows and streams invite you to eventful excursions. Starting point for the best-known 5-lake hike, the King's Tour at the Pizol.
On the ground floor there is a dining room and kitchen with dishwasher, three wheelchair accessible rooms and a direct exit to the spacious garden sitting area with barbecue. Accommodation mainly in double rooms. All rooms have a magnificent view on the Rhine valley and the Alpine panorama, not to mention the gondolas of the Pizol cable car. Access directly by car (motorway exit Sargans) or from the train station Sargans by postal bus (2.5 km to the valley station Dorf Wangs).
The Chalet Waldegg is located on the cycle route number 9.
