Breathe in deeply please, because it was not by chance that this lovingly refurbished hotel, with its individually designed rooms and outstanding spa facilities, was originally built in 1878 as a sanatorium where people came to take the air. This is where the Bernese Oberland shows its most natural side. Today the hotel, lake and country park all belong together and offer guests an experience like no other in Switzerland. Attractive conference facilities and the Gault Millau rated restaurant make this hotel just perfect.
Our hotel is situated directly at the lake Blausee, in the middle of a 22 ha natural parc. Open the window, make a deep breath and enjoy the unique view on the Alps of the Berner Oberland. And at night? Let you impress by the romantic illumination of the lake and the park… under the sky with a million stars. All our rooms are unique, from the Biedermeier style to the 50ties, from a modern to a rustic style. Enjoy our spa with sauna, whirlpool, open-air bath tubes and steam bath. Wedding
The hotel offers 17 romantic rooms and 32 beds. Depending on the size of the room, you can order extra beds. Choose to celebrate your wedding in the Grandezza Room with seating for up to 100, our Art Nouveau restaurant with up to 50 seats or our library with seating for up to 24 guests. The terrace and entire nature park are also at your disposal.

Twisty paths invite visitors to wander among the mysterious boulders left by a prehistoric rock fall, and the unusually tall fir trees.
