Quietly located on the Horwer peninsula, Lucerne's city centre can be reached in just 15 minutes, by boat (in summer) or bus. The old town is a popular destination with its proximity to Lake Lucerne, the Alps and many sights and offers countless discovery programmes. At the Seehotel Kastanienbaum you can enjoy direct views of the lake or the mountains from all rooms. On the lakeside terrace and in the lakeside restaurant, you will be served regional delicacies and newly interpreted classics with a magnificent view of Lake Lucerne.
