The peaceful 65km nature tour takes you through the diverse landscape of the Zurzibiet, all the way to the Klingnau reservoir: this is a welcome sanctuary for birds and a paradise for wildlife photographers. It’s well worth bringing a pair of binoculars along to watch the feathered visitors from faraway lands. And with a little luck you may even spot kingfishers and beavers on the “Chly Rhy” floodplain. To round off the circular tour, treat yourself to a rejuvenating plunge in the natural surroundings of the Bad Zurzach thermal baths. Incidentally, state-of-the-art bikes and e-bikes are available for hire – and can be found right next to the tourist office.
