Intro
Designed for children aged 5–12, the Sunday Early Bird workshop explores photography in a variety of ways.
Sessions are held at a variety of venues, including the Fotomuseum Winterthur, the Swiss Foundation for Photography and our own photo lab. The constantly changing programme offers fascinating practical experiences and some very special memories.
We explore the latest exhibitions together in a fun and playful way. Inspired by the exhibition, we then create our own works during the hands-on section of the workshop. We switch up materials and techniques based on the themes explored in the exhibition. We also delve into the history of photography and, following a brief introduction into photo lab techniques, try out similar techniques ourselves.
While the kids are attending the workshop, parents can join a public guided tour of one of the exhibitions at the Fotomuseum Winterthur or the Swiss Foundation for Photography.
