The show presented by AbbaShow – while based on the most famous songs by the cult band of the 1970s (performed entirely and exclusively live!) – is more than just music, and more than just an ABBA tribute; it is an event designed to recreate the atmosphere of that era through sound, lighting, color, costumes, and choreography.
The show lasts approximately two hours and 15 minutes, with no intermission. The setlist spans genres, ranging from the folk-inspired "Fernando" and the dance-driven "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" to the rock 'n' roll energy of "Waterloo," the disco classic "Dancing Queen," and the pop hit "Mamma Mia..."
It is an incredibly diverse performance that thrills and engages audiences of all ages.
What makes it unique is that each song functions as a distinct chapter within the show, featuring choreographed routines by the singers, quasi-theatrical performances, frequent costume changes (strictly in the style of ABBA), and various stage effects – including pyrotechnics, wherever possible.
