Intro
Self-guided walk – Following the trail of Leysin’s avalanche barriers
Set off to discover the **history of the stone walls** built 100 years ago to **protect Leysin from avalanches**, on a **magnificent walk** through the hills above the resort.
Along the route, **seven information points** scattered across the Riondaz-Géteillon area, between Temeley and La Berneuse, invite you to **discover the various aspects of these structures**: their history, their role, their construction and the challenges involved in maintaining them.
A walk to discover a unique heritage and delve **into 100 years of history**… right at your feet!
### Accessibility
* Shuttle bus available from Feydey station to Le Temeley
* It is possible to walk up to Le Temeley
* The hike with the checkpoints starts at Le Temeley and ends at La Berneuse

* Downhill: 12.00, 13.00, 15.00, 16.00
