"Good news—Switzerland is built!"
Overview
Intro
Group Exhibition for a New Culture of the Existing
What if the most sustainable building were the one that already exists? From October 8 to December 2, 2026, L’archipel and the architectural firm mijong are presenting the exhibition “Good News: Switzerland Is Built! ,” dedicated to the transformation of existing built heritage, reuse, and the optimization of already available resources. Originally conceived by Baubüro in situ, the exhibition is first being presented at the Zurich Architecture Forum. For its run in French-speaking Switzerland, the original exhibition has been adapted and expanded to include a selection of projects from the region. After an initial stop at the F’AR in Lausanne, it will be on display at La Ressourcerie de L’Archipel in Sion for two months. The exhibition will be accompanied by events bringing together public authorities, construction professionals, and the general public. Held on Mondays and Thursdays, these gatherings will provide an opportunity to share practical experiences, compare approaches, and foster new collaborations centered on transformation, reuse, and circular construction.
