VINCENT FOURNIER
To mark its 30th anniversary, the Ferme-Asile is inviting Vincent Fournier to hold an exhibition at La Grenette. A resident artist for nearly fifteen years, he is unveiling a new series of works inspired by the exposed timber frame of the Ferme-Asile barn, which naturally builds on his ongoing artistic exploration. In this body of work, the artist plays with minimalist, symbolic compositions where vertical, diagonal, and horizontal segments intersect. He traces, cuts, folds, flips, and re-glues certain elements to create unique assemblages that open up new formal and contemplative spaces, while allowing the material and its imperfections to speak for themselves. Opening reception on Friday, September 11, at 6:00 p.m., with the artist in attendance.Exhibition Events: September 11, 2026 – 5:00 PM PREVIEW TOUR For members of La Ferme-Asile, accompanied by the artist. September 24, 2026 – 6:00 PM “IN RESONANCE” Guided tour with the artist followed by a reading of an unpublished text by Charlotte Centelighe. October 24, 2026 – 11:00 a.m. TOUR AND DISCUSSIONWith the artist and art historians Marie-Fabienne Aymon and Claude-Hubert Tatot. November 14, 2026 – 2:00 PM–10:00 PM MUSEUM NIGHT Evening opening. Drawing on his spirituality, Vincent Fournier’s work is a subtle call to contemplation and tranquility, a silent invitation to elevate and turn one’s gaze inward. A SPECIAL EDITION: The exhibition opening will mark the start of the Association’s 30th-anniversary celebrations. On this occasion, the limited-edition anniversary piece created by Vincent Fournier specifically for the event will be unveiled and made available for purchase.
