Born in Baku, Azerbaijan, Anaïda Agadjanian Monnier began playing the piano at the age of 11. In 1985, she graduated in classical singing from the Baku College of Music.
Born in Baku, Azerbaijan, Anaïda Agadjanian Monnier began playing the piano at the age of 11. In 1985, she graduated in classical singing from the Baku College of Music. She continued her studies in Russia and, in 1992, obtained a degree in opera singing and vocal teaching from the Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow. She subsequently pursued her virtuoso studies at the SSPM in Switzerland, graduating with a Virtuoso Diploma in 2006 under the guidance of Professor Sirvart Kazandjian. She moved to Valais in 1998 and now teaches vocal arts at the School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in Sion; she also performs regularly in French-speaking Switzerland, as well as in northern Italy and neighbouring France. Born in Martigny, Damien Theux began playing the guitar at the age of seven. Passionate about the instrument from an early age, he studied guitar with Professor Christian Tille at the Conservatory of Sion. He completed his studies at the Conservatory of Sion with the congratulations of the jury. He has taken part in severalmasterclasses with Hungarian guitarist and composer David Pavlovits and has won several prizes in competitions in Switzerland and Italy. Damien is currently pursuing a Master of Concert Performance at HEMU Valais-Wallis, studying with George Vassilev. Alongside his studies, he teaches at the Allgemeine MusikschuleOberwallis.
