Austrian coats of arms on the town hall, bullet marks on the Storchennest Tower and massive city walls - discover the contemporary witnesses of the Habsburg monarchy.
The highlight of this tour is the Town Hall.
Marvel at the well-preserved portraits of Habsburg rulers, including Maria Theresa. Among other things, she introduced fire insurance for buildings and compulsory schooling for girls. The Commander's House, the Austrian coat of arms and the former barracks in Kupfergassen are further witnesses to the Habsburgs. Habsburg influences can even be seen in the late Baroque town church
