Heidi Classic
Overview
Intro
The Heidi Classic is celebrating its 15th edition this year—a true classic.
As usual, the starting point is the picturesque town of Bad Ragaz, from where participants set off on a two-day ride through some of Switzerland’s most beautiful regions. The route winds through vineyards, over famous Alpine passes, and through high-Alpine valleys.
There are two categories: In the sporty “Sport” category, ambitious teams cover about 220 kilometers at a higher average speed and with more special stages, while the more leisurely “Classic” category, covering approximately 160–180 kilometers, is ideal for beginners, beginners, and connoisseurs—here, there’s more time to enjoy nature, the views, and the atmosphere. A joint drivers’ briefing on Thursday evening provides the perfect introduction to the roadbook, the rules, and the rally experience.
In addition to the scenic route, participants can expect various special stages and skill tests that require precision and teamwork. The vehicles range from charming modern classics to true vintage cars with character.
