With La Banda Storica, you will embark on a musical journey through time to the heart of the Classical and early Romantic periods – brilliant, surprisingly intimate and full of energy.
The finest chamber music by Ignaz Pleyel, cleverly arranged for clarinet and string trio, opens the evening with charm and elegance. This is followed by a highlight of music history: Beethoven's monumental ‘Eroica’ – in a gripping chamber version that makes every detail audible and allows the full drama, power and vision of this masterpiece to be felt immediately. A concert like a window into another time.
