Overview
Intro
A gourmet car rally where each stop is a wine estate, each stamp a bottle, for a friendly drive through the heart of the vineyards.
A unique rally where your scorecard is an empty wine box, checkpoints are wine cellars, and each stamp is a bottle!
On board your car (classic, exceptional, or delightfully old-fashioned!), set off to discover the most beautiful wine estates.
Bring your box and validate each stop by adding a bottle to it!
* Duration: approx. 3 to 5 hours depending on your pace (Driving time: about 1h45)
Plus the lunch break of your choice.
* Staggered departures: from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
A final stage (your last checkpoint!) in the form of a gathering, giving you the chance to meet, share (at last!) a glass of wine, and admire the vehicles and your fellow participants.
In the end: a wonderful drive, a commemorative plaque,
and a box of wine to take home!
* A regional drive / wine rally bringing together vintage, classic or simply old-fashioned vehicles (minimum vehicle age: 20 years).
* At the start, each participant receives a commemorative plaque, a road book with the route and the addresses of the five wine estates visited, as well as an “empty” box for six bottles.
* CHF 150.– An exceptional price for a wonderful day out, a drive at your own pace, and the discovery of five wine cellars in the visited region.
* (The price includes the road book, the wine box, the six bottles to fill it, and the commemorative plaque!)
* A moment of meeting and exchange to conclude your drive, open to participants and the public from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
* The term “rally” is, of course, not related to speed, given these venerable automobiles, but rather to the concept of the event. The term “wine” does not challenge the saying “drink or drive”; it simply indicates that wine estates are hosting the participants.
* For safety reasons: bottles must be brought back full to validate your rally and receive the final one at the finish!
