Queer Movies im Kino CapitolQueerVS präsentiert: Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994, OV/de) - Ein Roadtrip dreier Drag Queens durch die Australische Wüste. Ihr Ziel: ein Auftritt in einem Hotel.

Weil sie in Sydney nicht geschätzt werden, beschliessen die drei Drag Queens Mitzi, Felicia und Bernadette, einen Bus zu kaufen und mit diesem ins Landesinnere zu fahren. Auf ihrer Reise brechen dabei auch alte Wunden wieder auf - trotzdem erleben die drei die beste Zeit ihres Lebens.
