Songwriters from the region share their newly written songs each month and give each other honest feedback—a rare glimpse behind the scenes of songwriting.
Welcome to the songwriters’ living room.
With the SongwriterCircle, a format that has proven successful in Nashville, New York, and Dublin is now taking place in Liestal as well.
Once a month, Anna Gosteli (U21 Circle) and Flavian Graber (Circle) invite other songwriters from the region into their “extended living room” to share their newly written songs with each other and the audience. People of different ages and experience levels come together across various genres. True to the motto: coming together as part of the songwriting family, challenging and supporting one another.
Performances are acoustic—with piano, guitar, or as demo recordings. Almost every month, a professional songwriter is also featured as a guest.
