Intro
Founded in 2012 in Illgau (Schwyz), the five-piece band stands for honest, handmade rock'n'roll with a lot of soul, sweat and down-to-earth attitude.
Their sound is characterized by powerful original compositions and energetic cover versions of rock legends such as Status Quo, The Georgia Satellites and AC/DC.
After numerous live performances and years on stage, the band released their first album in 2023: "Nail It Down" - a statement in ten songs, raw, direct and full of unfiltered rock'n'roll energy. A milestone in their career: the appearance as support act for Dan Baird & Homemade Sin, one of the founding fathers of southern rock. GREATDANE brings to the stage exactly what rock'n'roll is all about - volume, passion and the feeling that every note is lived.
