Experience an impressive glacier hike to one of the region’s most iconic peaks. The ascent of the Wildstrubel central summit at 3,243 m offers you an unforgettable high-alpine adventure with spectacular views. An easy glacier tour, ideal for hikers with good fitness and mountain experience.
Equipment
Mountain or hiking boots
Comfortable long trousers, mountain jacket
Gaiters (if available), hat and gloves
Rain protection, sunglasses, sunscreen
Water bottle, small lunch (lunch package available at the hut)
Optional: trekking poles, harness and suitable crampons
Crampons and harness can be rented at the hut.
Meeting point
Thursday around 6:00 pm at the Lämmeren Hut
Dinner at 6:30 pm
Remarks
The tour starts on Thursday evening with a meeting at the Lämmeren Hut. After a relaxed dinner, you’ll set off early on Friday for a guided glacier ascent to the summit.
