Intro

In the oldest railway depot of Central Switzerland, visitors experience railway history in a small but lively railway museum.

The Brugg Railway Station has a historic depot that had not been used for years. Today the Bahnpark Brugg Foundation houses historic steam engines and Diesel and electric locomotives that are in working condition. In addition, many examples of railway technology enrich the museum: an 18-meter platform, locomotive components, model locomotives, and much more.

Opening hours

The Brugg Railway Park is located in the middle of the premises of the Swiss Federal Railways. It is not possible to completely enclose the railroad park with a fence, which unfortunately rules out regular opening hours for the public at present. Interested parties are recommended to visit during the open days (every Whitsun weekend) or book a guided tour.
