Description
All the fun of sledging over 11 kilometres: Fiescheralp (2,222 metres above sea level) is easily accessible by cable car.
It is a car-free village which is situated close to the Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Once you’re up there, you’ll enjoy an extraordinary panorama and a view of the Matterhorn before through the snowy forests. You’ll get the chance to make your descent on a Ghosky sledge – typical of the Valais region – which you steer by simply transferring your weight. The perfectly prepared sledge run is extremely safe and runs through a magnificent forest.
Arriving in Lax, you simply board the shuttle-bus that will take you back to Fiesch, where you can take the cable car to Fiescheralp. Back at the top, take time to relax and enjoy not only the view but also enjoy a fondue or a raclette with friends.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
