Stadtführung Fürstenau
Overview
City tour with Rudolf Küntzel. Visit to the medieval wall paintings in the Stoffelhaus. In Graubünden, only 3 locations feature secular wall paintings from this period, making them unique in art history. The hunting scene provides insight into how the Bishop of Chur celebrated court life in the small town of Fürstenau at the time. During the city walk, the history of the fourth-largest city in Graubünden comes alive again as a traffic hub in the Middle Ages and a cultural hotspot in modern times. Following the tour, there will be a small aperitif prepared by Casa Caminada, Fürstenau.
- Meeting point: 5:30 PM at the Stoffelhaus in Fürstenau
- Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours
- Registration required by 2:00 PM on the day of the event. If the event has to be cancelled, Viamala Tourism will inform you in advance.
