The fascinating world of scents! Have you ever wondered how a perfume is created and what your very own fragrance would smell like?

In the perfume workshop, you’ll create your own scent and take on the role of the perfumer. Floral, fruity, aquatic, woody or perhaps oriental? The secret of a perfume lies in the composition of scents, as it’s all about finding the right blend of diverse fragrance notes. Together with the team from La Profumoteca, you’ll explore the world of scents, experiment with different fragrance notes and create your very own, individual scent composition.

Course content
You’ll begin with a brief introduction to working with fragrance notes, their harmony and the most important basics of blending.

Next comes the creative phase:
Using scent strips, you’ll test various single scents. You’ll keep your favourites, gradually building your personal scent palette.

Once you’ve chosen five or more favourites, you’ll start mixing: you’ll combine your scents on a new scent strip until, step by step, your perfect composition emerges.

Experienced perfume professionals will be on hand throughout to offer tips and guide you on your scent journey.

Once your ideal scent combination is set, it will be translated into a precise fragrance formula – the exact mixing ratio of your single scents. This way, your fragrance can be recreated or further developed at any time.
