Description

The “La Margna“ was built at the beginning of the 20th century in the Art Nouveau style, characteristic of the Engadine and it is one of St. Moritz‘s landmarks, not only because of its privileged location and its fascinating panoramic view of Lake St. Moritz. The elegance of bygone days combines with the style of the now to create a new heartbeat. The GRACE LA MARGNA ST MORITZ combines the glamorous past of St. Moritz, a place of longing, with the demands of a modern and cosmopolitan society. Here, tradition and modernity merge in a zeitgeisty mindset. Lean-Luxury meets Well-Staying.

Getting there

Arrival by train Travel in style with the world-famous Glacier Express! From Thusis, the rhaetian railway makes its way through helical tunnels and over viaducts as it climbs the Albula Valley towards St. Moritz. Harmoniously embedded in the landscape, the line is a monument to the pioneering days of railway-building and has UNESCO World Heritage status. Arrival by car Trough the valley of Engadin, the Grand Tour of Switzerland leads you directly to our hotel. From Zurich, the journey takes about 3 hours and these passes await you: Julier, Albula (only summer) or Flüela (only summer, in winter only through the tunnel). From Milan, you take the picturesque route to Lecco along Lake Como to Chiavenna, until you finally reach the Engadine via the pass of Maloja. From Munich, we recommend the 4-hours-journey via Garmisch-Partenkirchen up the wonderful Engadin valley.
