The Salvation Army holiday centre Waldegg is situated above Rickenbach (Baselland/Switzerland) with a beautiful view, 1 km from the village centre. The holiday home can be reached all year round by post bus (Gelterkinden - Rheinfelden) and by car (15 parking spaces).
Popular excursion destinations are: Liestal, Farnsburg, Sissacherfluh, Sissach, Basel, Augusta Raurica ...
The holiday centre has 3 parts, which can be booked together or separately. They have separate entrances.
Main house (65 sleeping places), youth centre (38 sleeping places), studio (4 sleeping places).
The main house (partly wheelchair accessible):
25 bedrooms with washbasin (1-4 persons), 10 individual showers, 15 WC, gastro kitchen, dining room and hall for 110 persons (incl. beamer, screen, acoustic system), 3 group rooms (6-30 persons), office, parlour, billiard room, cloakroom/shoe room, own outdoor seating area, 2 fireplaces
Youth center:
3x 2-bedrooms with washbasin, 4x 8-bedrooms, 2 washrooms, 5 individual showers, 7 WCs, small gastro-kitchen, dining room for 40 persons, room for 40 persons (incl. beamer, projection screen), lounge, cloakroom/shoe room, own outdoor seating area, 2 fireplaces
The studio:
2 beds, 1 pull-out sofa, shower/WC/avabo, kitchenette with two hotplates, microwave, refrigerator, pans and dishes
Exterior:
Playground, swimming pool (approx. April to October, 1.4 m deep), sports field (football, floorball, volleyball, tennis, basketball), 2 table tennis tables
