The Hotel Restaurant Krone is located in the heart of Urnäsch in the beautiful Appenzell region:
From St. Gallen (approx. 35 mins):
Take the A1 motorway towards Zurich.
Take the Gossau exit.
Follow the signs for Herisau – Waldstatt – Urnäsch.
The hotel is located in the centre of Urnäsch, directly on the village square.
From Zurich (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes):
Take the A1 motorway towards St. Gallen.
Take the Gossau exit.
Continue as described above via Herisau to Urnäsch.
Parking spaces are available directly at the hotel or in the immediate vicinity.
Arriving by public transport:
Urnäsch is easily accessible by train. The Hotel Krone is just 300 m from the Appenzellerbahnen railway station and the post bus stop for the journey to Schwägalp and the Säntisbahn railway.
