A gem full of tradition and history. This well-known hotel, offering 45 beds, a studio, and budget-friendly B&B rooms, is personally managed. Cozy, well-maintained rooms with views of the lake or the mountains, as well as a studio with a small kitchen – ideal for families. A rich breakfast featuring homemade bread. Swiss specialties are served in the restaurant, which includes several dining rooms, a banquet hall, a spacious sun terrace, and beautiful lake views. Centrally located, right by the train station square.

The traditional, cozy Hotel Weisses Kreuz is centrally located in Brienz, right next to the train station, the Brienzer Rothorn steam train and the boat landing stage. There is also a bank, post office and supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is therefore the perfect starting point for exploring the region. We offer a rich breakfast with homemade bread and pastries. In summer also on the beautiful terrace. There are 45 hotel beds in our hotel: all rooms are equipped with bath/shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, TV, safe, WLAN and are non-smoking rooms. The first and second floors are accessible by elevator.

Getting there

Arrival by train: You can reach Brienz either via Bern-Interlaken or via Lucerne-Brünig. You will find our hotel directly opposite Brienz Ost station (main station). A special tip is to travel by boat from Interlaken Ost. If you are arriving by car: Free parking spaces are available to our hotel guests directly behind the hotel. As we only have a limited number of parking spaces, we cannot make reservations or guarantee a free space. Please also note that for this reason our parking lot is only available until 11:00 a. m. on the day of departure. If our hotel parking spaces are occupied, we recommend the Coop parking garage (next door) or the BRB parking garage (approx. 100 meters) for a fee of CHF 8.- per day.
