Intro

The Museum of Rural Life in Stabio belongs to the network of ethnographic museums in the Canton of Ticino.

This museum that opened in 1981 in Stabio contains historic and ethnographic artefacts from the world of farming. Different rooms are dedicated to exhibitions of carts, important ploughing devices, harnesses and various different kinds of trap. One last room contains a different themed exhibition each year. Open in the afternoon on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
