Intro
The permanent exhibition “Travelling through times and cultures” takes visitors on a journey through 15,000 years of culture and history – a journey you can experience personally with all your senses.
The new, modern exhibition takes you on a journey through time from woolly mammoth to canned ravioli. The lower level houses the Burghalde Museum, the only museum of icons in Switzerland. And the youngest visitors can look forward to a
time capsule adventure with Professor Weasel, who accompanies them through the millennia.
Children’s birthday parties, Sunday family outings or children’s afternoons in the prehistory workshop also feature on the museum’s programme for children and families. Find out more about current workshops and events here.
