Impressive tour overcoming a large difference in altitude from Trin up to the Alp Mora and to the famous glacier mill of the Val Maliens.
Description
From Trin Dorf you start off on a tarmacked road through the wood up towards Alp Mora. After 5 km you pass through the settlement of Maliens and cross the Maliens Stream for the first time. The forest road then steepens to overcome a 300 m climb. At an altitude of 1,700m the road continues straight ahead for 1.5km, giving you an opportunity to enjoy the view and gather strength for the final climb to the Tegia Culm at an altitude of 2,250m. From here there is a wonderful view of the Signina Range and the Safien Valley. To return you head to signpost 408 at an altitude of 2,100m. You return to Trin the same way you came.
