Experience nature on a scenic bike tour. Along the way, you will be rewarded again and again with fantastic views into the Blinnen- and Bächi valleys, to Weisshorn and Matterhorn, to Galenstock and down into the Rhone valley.
Description
The bike tour to Galmihornhütte is a sports challenge in a uniquely beautiful landscape. The starting point is the train station in Reckingen. At first the route leads through the old village. How about stopping at the photo point of the Grand Tour of Switzerland in front of the imposing Stadel 1617? After you have left the village, the forest trail leads into the romantic Bächital.
Continue until Bächigalen! Ideally sit down in the fragrant grass and enjoy the impressive view from the Galenstock in the east as far as Matterhorn and Weisshorn in the west. The single trail then leads down to the cozy Galmihornhütte. Time for a leisurely rest. The hut serves refreshments in summer. Before starting the bike tour, inform yourself about opening times! Then continue the ride through the dense Bawald towards Münster.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
