The vintage train was originally built for the 1939 national exhibition and was the mode of transport of choice for royalty and heads of state. Now, it can be all yours for one special event.
Gala dinner.
Train now arriving at platform 6 is the Red Arrow ‘Churchill’. This special event train is due to depart at 17:05. We wish you a pleasant round trip and many congratulations to the happy couple.” Whenever you hear this announcement at a station, it is referring to one of our organised events by train. While you relax and celebrate to the sound of music coming from the loudspeakers, our railway catering staff will serve you a dinner on the train from the on-board kitchen. The Red Arrow “Churchill” is a fantastic place to celebrate and you and your guests can even sit in the driver’s cab to watch the driver at work or catch a glimpse of the line.
