Intro

Bat introductory course. The course serves as an introduction to the training for local bat conservation.

Programme:

09:00-10:30: Bat species, their distribution, characteristics and protection Break 11:00-12:30: Biology of bats: annual cycle, diet, habitats Lunch break 13:15-14:00: Continuation Biology of bats: bioacoustics 14:00-15:00: Tasks of bat conservation in Graubünden: cantonal bat conservation, local bat conservation, quarter caretakers Break 15:30-16:30: Course conclusion and visit to a bat roost in Tarasp

Target group: Adults interested in bats and/or wishing to participate in bat conservation as quarter caretakers.

The course serves as an introductory course for the training to become a local bat conservationist.
