Intro
Welcome the new day on the Stockberg.
You start your day in the middle of the night, carpooling to Lutenwil and hiking in the dark across meadows, pastures, forest paths and mountain ridges to the summit. As you go, it gets lighter and at 1,781 m above sea level, you welcome the sun as it appears behind the Säntis massif. This experience and the early morning view of the Toggenburg will take your breath away. After descending the same way, you can enjoy a well-deserved, fine breakfast at the Gemsli restaurant in Neu St. Johann.
