Firstly there is Nyree Bischofberger, who was born in Australia, and Markus Bischofberer, an innovative farmer who also grew up on a farm in the Appenzell Hinterland. In addition to the many native animals, the farm has also been home to the exotic alpacas since 2004. The mix of the tried and tested with a touch of the exotic enlivens the entire region and fits in perfectly. The couple makes high-quality products from these versatile animals that are sold in their Alparama farm shop. The Bischofberger family is happy to help guests learn more about their animals and their farm, and their passion for innovative farming is contagious.
