On Eye Level with the King of the Alps No zoo enclosure, no telephoto lens. Just the ibex, as it lives. Veit Fritz grew up with these animals. He will guide you on a 9-km hike up to Alteinsee, and while everyone else simply walks, you'll suddenly see what you would have otherwise overlooked: chamois paths, marmot colonies, raptors in the updraft. A sighting is never guaranteed, but you return to the village with a different perspective. Bring your lunch in your own backpack.
