Vom 3. Juli bis 31. Oktober zeigt Carla Hohmeister ihre Ausstellung «Gesichtspunkte» im einzigartigen Dachstock von Schloss Sargans.

Aus alltäglichen Materialien wie Garn, Wolle, Netzen, Farbe und Holz baut die Künstlerin Porträts, die aus der Nähe als einzelne Farbflächen erscheinen und sich aus der Distanz wie von selbst zum Gesicht fügen – analoges Material, das zum «digitalen» Bild aus Pixeln wird. Der Titel ist Programm: Ein Gesichtspunkt ist Perspektive und Standpunkt zugleich, und wer sich im Raum bewegt, verändert mit jedem Schritt seine Sehweise.

Gezeigt werden die Werke an einem Ort, der selbst ein Kunstwerk ist: Der Dachstock mit seinem lärchenen Dachstuhl von 1506 ist ein eindrückliches Zeugnis spätmittelalterlicher Zimmermannskunst.
