A. Piazzolla:Tango Sensations und mehr
Dass Bandoneon und Streichquartett eine äusserst spannende Kombination ist, hat als erster der Bandoneonist und Komponist Astor Piazzolla mit seinem Werk „Five Tango Sensations“ dokumentiert. Hierbei kombiniert er die Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten eines Streichquartetts mit den Farben des Bandoneons und erweitert damit das Spektrum der Klangfarben. Sowohl als Ensemble als auch solistisch treten die Streichinstrumente in Dialog mit dem Bandoneon und erzeugen so eine zauberhafte emotionale und melancholische Stimmung, ganz im Sinne des Tangos: sinnlich und leidenschaftlich
