Lernen Sie unsere Dioramen «Tiere Afrikas» mit unserem Wissenschaftsleiter Stefan Hertwig auf dieser Führung besser kennen.

Die Dioramen des Naturhistorischen Museums Bern, so auch die «Tiere Afrikas», sind die historischen Herzstücke des Museums. Sie haben Generationen von Besuchenden begeistert. Bei ihrer Entstehung in den Dreissigerjahren galten sie als «State of the Art» zoologischer Präparier- und Ausstellungskunst. Doch was sie abbilden, ist nicht die Realität: Dioramen sind immer auch Interpretationen und Inszenierungen ihrer Zeit.
