H2U Sessions mit «Eva Lynn»
Overview
Intro
Subtle, quirky and touching
Singer-songwriter Eva Lynn (Evelyn Funkhouser, originally from Uster, clown, farmer) and percussionist, drummer and artist Lukas Meier are a well-rehearsed duo. Together they create a musical cosmos that is sometimes funny and quirky, sometimes tender and touching.
Eva Lynn sings about colorful life, with an alert view of the world and a good dose of inward irony. In Swiss German and in other languages, she tells stories that are packed into songs - honest, direct and sometimes painfully close. Inspired by artists such as Ani DiFranco and Lila Downs, she creates music that gets under your skin.
Lukas Meier lends these songs additional depth with great attention, virtuosity and a fine touch. The result is a concert full of character, intimacy and surprising moments.
