The monthly Sound Healing with Instruments classes in Zurich are taught by Christine Grimm and open to anyone who wants to learn about using singing bowls, instruments and tuning forks in a healing way. We will explore some theory but also have hands-on practice in partner work. All of the instruments will be provided for the class.
The cost is CHF 35 in advance or CHF 40 at the door (if there's space since the max. is 9 participants). We have a large room and will follow the Covid-19 regulations. Please only attend if you are healthy.
You don’t need to be a musician, or practitioner to do this course, but it will increase your understanding of the relationship between sound, music, and healing. You also don’t need to believe in a particular philosophy: The theory of the 7 chakras and 5 elements are mentioned in correlation with the notes so that you can see how they correspond with each other. You can also just focus on the musical aspects and still benefit from this approach. I’ve developed my Vibratuning method of sound and voice therapy over more than 20 years and hope that this course will be an enjoyable guide on your path of personal and musical development.
Sound Healing with Your Voice classes will be offered later in the year.
Overview:
*Expand your knowledge of basic music theory as it applies to sound healing.
*Develop your intuition and learn to use voice analysis as a tool for healing.
*Discover how to release excessive notes (frequencies) and strengthen weak ones to
bring yourself into greater balance.
*Correlate the chakras (7 main energy centers) and related 5 elements with notes of the
scale so that you can express them through instrumental musicyour voice.
*Combine sound with the 4 levels of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
*Learn how to use the 5Rs of healing: Reason, Relax, Release, Regenerate, and Reflect.
