Intro
Velogemel World Championship Grindelwald
The Velogemel World Championships have been held in Grindelwald every winter in February since 1996.
The Velogemel is a wooden frame with two runners, with which the men and women compete for the honorable title.
Venue:
Bussalp, above Grindelwald.
Arrival by bus from Grindelwald railroad station (mountain line 126) in approx. 35 minutes.
Departure times: 08.55 | 09.45 | 10.30 a.m.

Bussalp Oberläger to Mittelläger

Juniors (born 2010 and younger) CHF 20.- each
Juniors (born 2010 and younger) CHF 20.- each
Ladies (born 2009 and older) CHF 30.- each
Men (born 2009 and older) CHF 30.
Start number distribution:
Race numbers will be handed out from 10.00 am to 11.30 am at the finish on the Bussalp.
Classification:
Individual: All starters will be ranked in the individual competition. The winners of the women's and men's categories are Velogemel world champions.
Team: 3 individual starters can form a team of 3 (no additional entry fee). The team with the smallest difference between the three individual times wins the team classification.
