Overview
Intro

Description
Start in the largest municipality in Prättigau, the illustrious holiday resort of Klosters, always a little in competition with the more sophisticated Davos. The route drops down to Landquart, suddenly a huge concrete eagle hovers over the valley; the elegant, 70-metre high suspension bridge of brilliant bridge builder Christian Menn, which was inaugurated in 2005.
Along the River Landquart through long strung-out Prättigau with its villages in the valley, on terraces and side valleys. Once Romansh, Prättigau is now a German-speaking valley community, flanked by high mountains such as the Silvretta and Rätikon, which influence the raw climate of the valley.
A narrow vale, the landscape opens out at Landquart railway station, where people are busy changing trains. The route reaches the Rhine dam and the health spa of Bad Ragaz, finally ending in Sargans, hub of all traffic flows.
