Have you always wanted to get off the slopes and explore the untouched snow-covered landscape? This taster weekend aims to introduce you to touring in open terrain, familiarize you with the equipment and give you an insight into avalanche awareness.
Description
The aim of this taster weekend is to introduce you to touring in open terrain. With theory blocks, lots of training in the terrain and a short practical tour in the middle of the Churfirsten, you will be given a basis for a better assessment of the avalanche situation. You will also learn how to search efficiently for buried people in the group in the event of an avalanche accident.
What you have just learned can be applied on a guided ski, splitboard or snowshoe tour under realistic conditions.
