Connections
A direct ICE train leaves for Basel SBB station daily from Amsterdam Central, Utrecht Central and Arnhem Central stations. From there, trains go to all parts of Switzerland. The journey from Utrecht takes 6 hours and 10 minutes. There are even more travel possibilities from the Netherlands with only one change at a station in Germany. At Frankfurt station, for example, travellers can change to a direct intercity train to Zurich, Bern or Interlaken. From Venlo, Enschede and Oldenzaal both Basel and Zurich can be reached with just one change.
